The Build a Bear Workshop concept originated in America as a retailer that sold stuffed animals and teddy bears, and Build-a-Bear has now even created an online website called Build-a-Bear Ville. It’s a very kid-friendly website where you can even make your own avatar.

When children go into a Build-a-Bear Workshop, they get to pick out their bear or animal that they want, and they get to stuff it themselves. They get to air brush it, name it, and such. Then they get a birth certificate showing that they personally adopted their Build-a-Bear. Then, they get to dress it and buy accessories for it. This is great for kids of the ages 6-12.
